February 24th 1979, deep in the heart of Flanders, Belgium. In Heist Op Den Berg, near Antwerp, was the Nhita Jazz Club, run by jazz critic Juul Anthonissen and a bunch of crazy jazz fans. It was located in the town hall, in a room on the first floor above the police station. Jazz lovers came from all over the country, and even from Holland and Germany. It was snowing heavily that night, but inside the club the atmosphere sizzled. People were having a good time, drinking beer and enjoying the music. The band was cookin' and that evening Frank Foster was King of the Sax. His "Non Electric Company" featured Ted Dumbar on guitar, Mickey Tucker on piano, Earl May on bass and Billy Hart on drums. The recording session was produced by Philippe Gaviglio.
