Patrick Cornelius and Friends perform "Sand Between the Toes" as part of The Checkout - Live at Berklee, December 11, 2013, at the Red Room at Cafe 939. The poem "Sand Between the Toes" is by A.A. Milne.

The show is made possible with support from the Chamber Music America's 2012 New Jazz Works: Commissioning and Ensemble Development program, funded through the generosity of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. The concert will featured Patrick Cornelius '00 and a song cycle he wrote based on "When We Were Very Young" for octet.
